Financial Lesson from Lord Vishnu.

GOD is the Acronyms of Generetor(Bharmha) Organizer(Vishnu) and Destroyer(Shiva). Being Organizer Lord Vishnu got huge responsibility of taking care of entire universe across all fields, finance too, he is the expert.

Financial Lessons we can take from Lord Vishnu’s above image are as follows:-

1. Sheshnag and Garuda:- Lord Vishnu got two Wahanas(Vehicles) – for resting he uses Sheshnag and for traveling the universe he uses Garuda. Both the wahanas have different qualities in terms of their eye sight. Sheshnag got very strong short sight( Nikat Drishti) whereas Garuda got very strong long sight(Door Drishti). While making financial planning we need to focus on our short term goals(0 to 5 yrs) as well as our long term goals(Above 5 yrs). It has been seen that few people focus only on short term goals whereas few people focus only on long term goals. Both are wrong. In need, both lack with required amount in hand.

2. Sankha, Chakra, Pushpa and Gada:- Lord Vishnu got four hands. He carries Sankha, Chakra, Pushpa and Gada in his hands.

Sankha:- In ancient days, Sankha being used to declare before starting the battle or any auspicious work. While doing your financial planning, specially when you know well about your incoming fund through bonus or incentives etc, you must declare it to self and family that you will invest not spend the same, Otherwise, chances are more that as your family members will also be awared about your inflows they will be ready with their plan of spending the same. Chakra:- It shows continuity and gives a clear message i.e never stop. Once you start investing, you shouldn’t stop and be a regular investor. Market goes up or down, stay invested till you achieve your goal. Gada:- Gada was being used to punish someone. Here in financial planning, you need to be disciplined enough so that you continue your investments at any cost. In case of any reason, if you discontinue your investments you punish yourself by compensating necessary expenses or luxury expenses.

Pushpa:- When do we give flowers to someone? To congratulate or to appreciate or to celebrate an occassion. Whenever you achieve your financial goal, you must celebrate that momement. You can gift yourself, or can take family out for dinner etc. It will motivate you to do better and keep doing for future.
